This small fan bracelet is lovely handmade in my studio in Tayport, Fife, just 5 minutes drive from the V & A Dundee Design Museum. This is a new version of the fan bracelet as I have made it with the smaller fan shapes and have incorporated rectangular linked chain to give it a more dainty, elegant feel. This bracelet has an original catch which flows with the rest of the piece as the catch is a rectangular key ring, especially designed for this piece. Easy to clip on and off with one hand. All my jewellery is now made in recycled precious metals, this piece is made in sterling silver. Pieces can be made to order in gold. Orders can take between 4-12 weeks depending on workload.
Simple, timeless contemporary design. This fan shape is inspired by a walk in Ladybank forest when I saw an unusually shaped tree trunk. I took lots of photos of it then started to sketch it’s unusual shape with different layers and created this design. I called it the fan collection as it reminded me of the shape of an open Japanese fan.
