Congratulations on finding the love of your life and for planning the proposal. Getting engaged is a really exciting time but have you been looking in the shops for a ring and they are all the same. None of them stand out and suit your partners style? So make the proposal even more special by designing and making your own engagement ring to give to your soon to be fiance!
I can help you to design and make your own ring, with your own hands. I will not make the piece for you, but you will be guided through the process. You can come as a couple, or on your own if you are planning a surprise.
The session will cover basic jewellery making skills such as forming, piercing and soldering. If you have no experience of jewellery it is quite hard to start with stone setting so if you do want a stone in your design you have to consider that this will be time consuming and technical and you may not be able to complete this in a day and may need another session.
The workshop is run for just one person (or couple) so you will be able to enjoy this memorable day together. The class is open to anyone and you do not need any previous jewellery making experience.
No mater what age you are and if you are male or female, I can help you design and make your own ring. No prior knowledge needed.

On the day, you will learn how to make a silver engagement ring from scratch and you can take it home with you. Price includes tea, coffee, light refreshments, silver and all tools are provided to make your own rings.
This package also includes a consultation a few days before your ring class. The class will be a One Day class between 4-6 hrs (silver is included in this price) but other precious metals and stones will be an extra charge.
Consultation
I will help you design your engagement ring and discuss your requirements through a consultation appointment. I will ask you to fill in a consultation form before we meet. At the consultation we can discuss design and materials. Then I can order in the correct materials for you if you would like to make your ring in gold, etc and I would tell you how much the materials will cost on the consultation day.
It normally takes a few days to receive the materials so you can have your class a few days after the consultation. I would need full payment for the class up front before the consultation and you can pay for the (gold, platinum, diamond or gemstone of your choice, etc) materials on the consultation day.
