These long textured rectangle drop earrings are handmade in silver and are inspired by the textures of the natural world, in particular the waves of the River Tay. Some people look at them and think the textures look like birch trees so art is in the eyes of the beholder as they say. These earrings have been lovingly handmade from my summerhouse studio in the garden in Tayport, Fife.
Each piece is individually hand pierced out from recycled sterling silver sheet, which is textured. Some pieces are then curved on a doming block which you can see in the image photographed on the log. So variation of size and texture can occur from each set, making every set completely unique. Approximately 4cm x 1.2cm. If you would prefer these to curve the opposite way please get in touch to order your bespoke set.
