Stunning labradorite ring handmade in oxidised silver with a 3mm textured band.

This stunning labradorite oxidised silver ring is inspired by walks on the beach and the forest. It was lovingly handmade in my garden studio in Tayport. I love gemstones with natural inclusions as they have character and hidden depth within them. This is definitely the case with labradorite. Each stone is totally unique with blue, green, yellow, orange, tinges through it and changes colour as you move it into the light. This particular labradorite is a stunning leaf / marquee shape and has lovely blue green flashes through it.

I’m a magpie to sourcing natural gemstones that have been created by nature.
I design around the stone and like to show off as much detail as possible. Some of my settings are quite rough and rugged like this one. I like to allow the silver to do what it wants when I’m setting it, just like nature.
