Statement stone setting rings inspired by the coast – green quartz, smokey quartz, labradorite, tourmalinated quartz
What have you been doing during lockdown?

Things have been pretty quiet lately but wanted to keep you up to date with what I’ve been doing during Lockdown. I have been spending time in my garden, combing the beach, going for walks in the forest and playing in parks with my wee girl. As Lockdown, allowed us to slow down, I’ve been thinking about things that we can all do to help the environment. So I’ve been joining in, in the beach cleans and helping out at the community fridge in Tayport, becoming more aware of the food wasted in our homes and from the supermarkets.

I’ve also been thinking about the materials I use in my work and am going to stop making pieces in perspex and am thinking about ways to incorporate recycled plastics into my 3D printed work. I also use eco and recycled silver and gold, and can revamp your old jewellery turning them into something new.

But I wanted to let you know that I’m still here for all your jewellery needs. I’m open for appointments again, so if there’s a birthday coming up or you’re needing a thank you gift for a fantastic Teacher, just get in touch or check out my website for the perfect gift.

Or do you just want to treat yourself to a new piece of jewellery for your summer holidays?

Real life exhibitions are back and I’m excited to announce that my jewels will be on show at both of these exhibitions this Summer.

Summer Exhibition, Pittenweem

Pittenweem Arts Festival is cancelled again this year, but they are putting on a summer exhibition and my work has been selected. Head to Art@47 to purchase a mixed selection of my jewels, including colourful Perspex pieces, the component collection and a few statement pieces. My work will be on sale during the 6th-16th and the 20th-30th August. I won’t be making Perspex pieces any more so it will be your last chance to purchase items from this collection.

100 Jewels by 100 Women

Excited to announce that I have been selected to exhibit in this exhibition. From the 2nd to the 27th June Double Door Studios in Dundee are holding their first proper exhibition – 100 Jewels by 100 Women – a celebration of the achievements of female craftswomen who have lived, studied or worked in Dundee. They have chosen one of my biggest statement pieces, so you’ll need to head to the show to see which piece was selected.

Double Door Studios will be open in real life but you must book before coming. All the pieces are available to view online and in print thanks to funding from @creativescots!
