With the growth of social media, online shopping and technology, there’s a shift in how we interact with our customers. I didn’t want to be left behind so I wanted to create videos to increase the awareness of my brand and to show people the process of making jewellery. Some people don’t really appreciate the time and skills involved making jewellery so I wanted to show some of the processes through these short films.
Designing and making bespoke pieces of Jewellery is my passion. So when a friend Chris James Marr, Musician – Esperi, came to me to make his partners engagement ring and both of their wedding rings I was thrilled. He wanted her ring engraved with the words “it’s a wonderful life” as it was special to him and his partner. He also wrote a song with the same title and enjoyed creating his own music videos for his music. So he asked if he could film me making pieces in my studio to use as footage for his song “It’s a Wonderful Life”. I was absolutely thrilled. So we combined the extra footage to create a Teaser and two short films for Genna Design and used Esperi’s music.
